Darcia always promotes authenticity, transparency, and connection. Having 7+ years of hands-on clinical experience, where she developed a therapeutic style that is both supportive and gently directive. Including a warm, open-minded, and collaborative, normalizing the therapy process while offering thoughtful encouragement toward growth. Darcia works with adults (18+), providing individualized, culturally responsive, and a collection of evidenced based care. She specializes in concerns including self-esteem and identity, anxiety and depression, substance use, personality disorders, relationships and codependency, life transitions, trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, women’s issues, and overall wellness. Darcia is committed to creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow into the life they desire.
Darcia is also a Qualified Supervisor offering supervision to post-master’s graduates pursuing licensure in Mental Health Counseling. She brings a supportive yet directive approach to supervision that mirrors her therapeutic style—grounded in authenticity, transparency, and connection. Darcia is committed to helping emerging clinicians strengthen their clinical skills, ethical decision-making, professional identity, and confidence as counselors. Drawing from her culturally responsive practice and diverse clinical background, she provides a collaborative and affirming supervisory space where supervisees are encouraged to reflect, grow, and develop their own therapeutic voice. Darcia values mentorship and advocacy, supporting clinicians as they navigate licensure requirements while cultivating sustainable, values-aligned careers in mental health.
Darcia holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida and went on to complete her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. Her passion for therapy developed through her experience in high school, and being raised by immigrant parents who made sacrifices and extended immense support to her. It drove Darcia to strive, overcome, and grow into the person she is today, and then become an advocate for others to do the same no matter what their circumstances are.
